As part of the Senior Management Team at EMCOR Services Northeast, Frank continues to work with the Vice President of Projects/Operation, the Vice President of Sales and the Vice President of Service. Frank is able to guide and share his expertise with these departments to enable the company to maintain its service base of repeat clients in the commercial and institutional arenas, of which many go back to the start up of CommAir.
Frank started his career in the HVAC industry as a union refrigeration service technician for Baystate York Company in 1965. He became Service Manager at Baystate York in 1972 where he gained valuable leadership skills. Frank co-founded Commonwealth Air Conditioning & Heating, Inc. in 1976, which grew to be one of the largest service mechanical contractors in Boston. Frank takes pride in the solid client base of CommAir that is rooted in his emphasis on quality customer service. In 2006, Frank became responsible for integrating two of the largest HVAC service companies in Boston, CommAir and BALCO, into EMCOR Services Northeast. He continues to serve the facilities services and mechanical services industry both locally and nationally as past President of the New England Mechanical Contractors Association (MCAA), a member of the Board of Directors of the MSCA of New England, and as a member of the Board of Managers of the Mechanical Service Contractor Association. Frank continues to serve on various committees in these organizations including the National Labor Negotiating Committee of the MSCA in Washington D.C.
The Personal Side
Frank’s top priority has always been his family, spending much of his time with his wife and daughter. He has a passion for boating and loves spending time on the water both on Cape Cod Bay and on the lakes of New Hampshire. He enjoys restoring wooden boats to prize-winning conditions.
