As part of the Sales team, Paul is responsible for identifying and responding to the needs of both existing and new customers. He meets with customers to review the needs of their facilities and provides solutions to correct problems with existing equipment, or designs new systems to meet their requirements. Paul is ultimately responsible for the design, estimating, proposal, and sale of the project. He is also responsible for project management for many complex projects at EMCOR Services Northeast.
Paul started in the HVAC industry in 1969 after graduating from Northeast Institute of Industrial Technology in Boston, Massachusetts. He worked at Medfield State Hospital as a Refrigeration Mechanic for 2 years. He was then accepted into the Pipefitters Local 537 apprenticeship program and served his apprenticeship at AMCONE Refrigeration in Everett, Massachusetts, installing, and servicing HVAC equipment. He was hired as a Service Technician by BALCO in 1975.
Paul has been involved in many special projects since that time. He was asked to project estimate and design in 1990 and soon became the Senior Project Estimator/Designer. This position has since expanded into estimating, design, sales, and project management. Paul has been a member of the Local 537 Pipefitters Refrigeration Division for over 39 years and is a member of the Association for Facilities Engineering (AFE).
The Personal Side
Paul has been married for 39 years. He has two children, a son and daughter, both married. He is a proud grandfather of a 4-year-old granddaughter, a 1½-year old granddaughter and is expecting a third grandchild. Paul enjoys spending time outdoors, fishing, boating, and watching wildlife. He is always involved in a project, whether at home or helping one of the kids at their homes. He has been involved with Boy Scouts of America as assistant Scoutmaster and Scoutmaster. Paul is always ready for a good time.
