Operations Manager, Automation
As part of the controls group, Kevin is responsible for working with our sales and service teams on the application of modern controls systems for new and existing facilities.
He provides engineering, estimating, and project management expertise, working with installing contractors and our technicians to help ensure we provide quality systems that exceed customer expectations.
His understanding of the real-world application of direct digital controls (DDC) to complex systems has helped owners and facilities personnel use their equipment in the most efficient and cost-effective means possible.
Kevin has over 25 years in the building automation and HVAC profession. After graduating from Blue Hills Technical Institute with an associate degree in HVAC technology, he began his career with United Technologies/Carrier Commercial Systems working as an engineering technician/controls project engineer.
Kevin spent the next 24 years working throughout New England installing and commissioning three generations of the Carrier Comfort Network BAS system in hospitals, colleges, airports, manufacturing, and clean room environments.
He has attended numerous professional development classes over the years, including project management, business management, finance, and IT courses. He also attended many HVAC-related courses in chiller operation/theory and unitary equipment and has received the Niagara AX certification issued by Tridium.
Kevin enjoys traveling to the lakes and mountains of northern New England and spending as much time as he can with his two grandsons.
