Mario is responsible for the company’s financial forecasting, planning, and reporting. Mario and his staff oversee the purchasing and cost-control disciplines that enable EMCOR Services Northeast to combine competitive pricing with consistent on-time, on-spec, and on-budget project delivery. He also ensures the company’s compliance with EMCOR’s accounting and finance policies and procedures.
Expertise
Mario has over 35 years in various aspects of operational finance and strategic financial management. Before joining EMCOR Services Northeast, Mario served as Controller of Engie Services US Inc., formerly Opterra Energy and Bluestone Energy Services LLC, where he managed the timely preparation and distribution of financial results. He coordinated the implementation of two new software programs and was responsible for financial planning and forecasting, cash management, sales tax filing, and procurement. He also worked closely with customers, vendors, and subcontractors in that role.
Mario holds a Bachelor of Science degree in Accounting from Northeastern University.
The Personal Side
Mario is married and has three children. In his spare time, he enjoys gardening, family vacations, taking walks, and spending time with his grandchildren.
